We all hurt
We all feel pain
In this thing
Called life's game

We all shed tears
When we hurt
We put our souls
On high alert

To somehow try
To protect
All of our feelings
We can't neglect

We must somehow
Find a way
To get through
Another day

Though at times
It's difficult
To express
Just what is felt

Our thoughts get jumbled
Nothing is clear
At times like this
We don't want people near

Things get confusing
When they shouldn't be
I hope you never feel
The confusion that lives in me

I know we all feel pain
In living day to day
But we must all remember
It won't always be this way
