Wonder of the world

Someone has quietly placed the Eiffel Tower
in front of my window
as if it were child's play
the wonder of the world
Confidently
I return to the
beginning
believing
The ecstasy
of our spring
seems endless
I think I'm dreaming
my neighbor calls out
and bewildered she looks upon
the tourists
streaming
into the backyard
