Wonderful Poem by Rokket Grrl

Wonderful

Do you care for cream soda and chicken on a stick
With a late night movie we call a 'chick flick'
And maybe a drive in movie in a bug from 72
With your arm around me and my eyes on you
I'll wear cut off jeans and tattered Converse sneakers
With an old favourite song playing low on the speakers

Or would you rather champagne and caviar
With a black tie meal and a fancy car
In a stuffy room with low light and smoke
And people so stuck up they look like a joke
Their noses are so raised they threaten to poke the stars out of the sky
And makeup so ridiculous they'd look better if they'd cry

Mine and her worlds are so different it's surreal
And maybe baby, her good fortune is a steal
But as long as your smiling on a night this beautiful
Then I guess that's all it takes, to make this wonderful
