Wonderful God Poem by Taher Shemaly

Wonderful God

Rating: 3.0

Oh how many wonders God did make
In this life and in that after life
Beauty, Magic, and Love
All can come from people with a knife
But be loving and loyal is all what we can do
For thy sunrise in my face and so my life

How magical it is this thing called patience
Once it is an antidote and then it is a pain
But seems my body can hold no more
For it gave only pain lying over a pain
Tell me, shall I keep it this way all the way
Or to the grave I shall pick my heart in vain

Say your prayers day and night with hope
And remember your Creator never been deaf
Even so to an old greenish tree in loneliness
With broken branches and of a falling leaf
Oh wonderful is thy Lord but we just don't know
How to love in painful moments or those of grief
