Wondering Star Poem by David Oladipupo Olorunshola

Wondering Star

I am like a wondering star
Ever wondering,
From one planet to another.
Searching and seeking
For a soul mate
Someone that our stars
Gel together.
A companion, a friend
Someone to confide in;
Expressing joy;
Sharing laughters;
And worries of the moment.

Though, every star
Possesses it's own uniquiness
And when they gather
Each can shine it's best.

I am like a wodering star;
Wandering to reach forth
And touch other stars
To gain prudence, wisdom
And establish the good.

I am like a wondering star
Wandering and stretching forth,
To touch the world.

i think you mean to use the word wandering, not wondering. of course you may mean wondering, but later you use wodering (another misspelling?) AND wandering within consecutive lines. and uniqueness, not uniquiness (a misspelliing i guess) . well, after finishing the last stanza i am almost convinced that you DO mean wondering sometimes and wandering other times. but i hope you can see why i was trying to correct you at first. :) i wish i could find my soul mate with the characteristics you have mentioned. well, here in the u.s., each of my four wives [one wife at a time, unlike in parts of africa] has been able to fulfill the role somewhat. thanks for sharing. bri :)
