Woods Full Of Snow Poem by Vishorag Shadja

Woods Full Of Snow

Among the rustling trees,
The road snakes through.
Those swaying pine trees,
What do they know?

Ploughing through snow,
Every step treacherous.
So difficult to harrow,
Past memories so arduous.

A bend in the road,
Far around the horizon.
So well enshadowed,
With fake affection.

The woods full of mystery;
The sounds full of secret.
Holding on to ancient history,
And blanket the regret.

Go! Go ahead and show,
The willowing stories,
Well hidden by the shadow,
And your last promise.

Oh I should have known,
Well, not to hastily rustle.
Yet, I could have shown,
The story behind your hustle?

Anyway, time has flown by,
And I don't much care…
That might be untrue, I sigh,
Why is life so threadbare?

Do you have the answer?
Or should I ask the snow?
The pine trees sway with vigor,
But, what do they know?
