Word Picture Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Eyes tired, half asleep
Listened to the Massey,
Ideas, CBC's.

Was careful, heard Sally,
She is a feminist:
"False is this history."

No two are exact same
But with her I agree:
"False is this history."

The writers, are, have been
The winners, and wealthy
So, write their "It must be."

The women are dirty
And witches, bloody.

Such words come in Bible
And books of other faiths,
To allow men, mullahs
And other kinds of monks,
Explain, describe:
"This is what God has said, "
Permit men to have wives
Like having sheep and cows.

The same is for slaves
As well as savages
And all ancient cultures,
Unless author needs them.

When we talk of Greeks
And the past of Greece
And Romans to Jesus,
Abraham and Moses,
We speak based on false.

I retouched Sally's words,
Title from "Son of a Trickster."
