A scratch on the heart of parchment
A picture of disaster
A spring of beauty
But what is a word
A simple thing
A gift of love
A word defines you
It becomes yours and yours alone
Remembered forever
Through our words
We convey our selves
Our needs our wants
Our hearts beheld my one word
A word can save yet destroy
Our inner thoughts exposed to the world
Use a word to change
Of forthcoming storms to breach disaster
