Words Poem by Dan Brown

Words

Rating: 5.0

Words and words and words
tumble
down the page
- long little lines of squiggles
dragged savagely from their comfort
to smear their insides across the canvas
blood, sweat and tears
dropped
dripped
down
the
page
in vain efforts of expression.
Words and words and words
on and on and on
but actions speak louder.

Hmmm....nice write but sometimes I wonder if actions do speak louder. Words can me mighty powerful sometimes! Course, still like the poem!

Words mean different things to people, hear they are a battle ground for expression, it may seem like action is bigger but sometimes persuasion comes through more subtle means. But a good fist is nice too
