Words Never Said Poem by Veronica Scavillo

Words Never Said

Rating: 5.0

I'll embrace this pain because it's all I've ever known
Instead of showing me the way of life
You've showed me the joys of being alone
My nightmares unraveling in the darkness
from the fabled lies you've told

I'll take my words to the grave
Because you've never listened and they weren't said
Dear agony help me live out my fantasy
Because I want this to be my end
And as darkness fades to light
So will my life

My eternal rest reeks of past dreams
This crimson marks me for all eternity
As I entered this vessel I thought my wounds would leave
This couldn't be my afterlife because it's filled with uncertainty
So

I'll take my words to the grave
Because you've never listened and they weren't said
Dear agony help me live out my fantasy
Because I want this to be my end
And as darkness fades to light
So will my life

Wondering around aimlessly
Hoping these demons will leave
Crimson stains the flesh of my wrists
You're voice sweet and seductive as far as I can tell
Is filled with a poison I so morbidly miss

My bittersweet darkness is fading away
As my afterlife rejoices in light
There's nothing left to say
Since the beginning you've won this fight
Dearest agony my closest friend
You've helped me live out my fantasy
because this is how I wanted it to end
