Words Of Silence Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Words Of Silence

Words of silence

I see her while lying in my bed
-she carries the dark night on her head;
-her eyes are two wells and dangerous
-I wait as did as child for the bird to come out!

She is moon and is sun and is mine
-deep colours are gathered dot by dot
-and bordered line by line…
-pink painting around eyes and lighter is the nose
-lips deep red and apart lovely cracked pomegranate…

Behind her, or maybe far above
-light blue and lovely is sky
-the stars are busy, Hopscotch
-racing with small pearls
-in headband on forehead!

"Go; go, go…leave me in miseries, all alone…"
-I tell her
-she is deaf or perfect actress; pretends…
-she stares and looks on; sending light
-as did holes in ceilings of the caves used for house

In silence…with no words… air is filled…
-sympathy and feeling are showered all around
-she tells me stories of the one who made her…
-"He is good and meant good…forgive him…
-…made mistake…"

We both know what she says
-we both know the artist
-he too is an artist
-has acted strange, like many
-bipolar, sensitive with sparks
-crazy; in kindness and anger!

That was why he left home suddenly
-was fooled by a mad man in city
-a liar, empty in brain with bag of promise

So he wrote a letter, left behind this painting!
