Wordsworth On Science

Between lines I and II6
of The Prelude XIII
Wordsworth said
that, grand as man is without,
with Feeling
he cannot but commune with
what I call the Allgeist,
and create according to Its call,
though to different degrees,
the grand from the small.

By saying the highest degree is bliss,
he implies
that finding feeling in all
is what is Science's call.
