Work As A Daily Prayer Poem by john tiong chunghoo

my friend prayed five times a day
but did not really love his work
day in and day out he tried to avoid
what he was supposed to do
until one day someone wise cornered him
'My friend, you sure have problem
working ah but you sure love god so much
try treating your work as prayers too
for that is the best thing you can offer up
to God everyday. No other prayer could
have pleased him more.'
he changed and his luck too - he just heard
he would be getting a raise.
he thanks God a thousand times
his prayers have finally been heard
