World Peace Poem by Rik Bertrand

It's now about you or me or him or her,
It is about the life were living and what we endure.
This world has lived with war and shame,
And no matter who's at fault, we are all to blame.

We all need to reach out and call for World Peace,
It is time to stop the fighting and throw a grand feast.
The life we have is all we got, let's all live it with pride,
Let's all stand up and shout, it is not that we must all decide.

If the battles rage on our world will fall and become useless dust,
We must lay down our weapons, come together, and have trust.
We must feed the weak, and shelter the poor, so they cry no more.
All must come together with peace and love, like never before.

Read these words and take a moment in thought,
Look into the past and see the cost from all the battles fought.
There was nothing gained from all the death and corruption.
It only takes a simple mind to see our futures total destruction.

World Peace is the answer; we must demand it right now,
For if we continue our course our future will be bitter and fowl.
World Peace is the answer; do not turn your back on your neighbor,
We can have all we desire and the world in our favor.
