Worries Poem by Randy McClave

Worries

Worries are not a gift
The soul they do not lift,
They cause wrinkles and grey hair
Which as a badge you must wear.
When you ever feel depress
When you have to much stress,
That's all that worries give
As long as you live.
It's a torment to suffer with thoughts
With troubles and anxieties as your crops,
You sow what you will reap
And worries just causes the soul to weep.
I have worries no more
I threw them all out my front door,
My worries were money and wants and ale
All created by a female.
I was given worries I never needed
The advice of others I never heeded,
I kept a worried condition and feeling
Now, I am healing.
Worries I can now give or take
But, them now I just forsake,
Once again I am worry free
As I see the strength given to me.
