Worrying Child Poem by Solomon Terlumun Tule

Worrying Child

Rating: 5.0

I often worry and wonder
why my voice no one hears
I often render my thoughts
to the troubles and challenges of man
yet no one pay heed to my idea
just because I'm a child
my talk often is a 'child play'
so no one care to assess the gains
this has always been my pain
never giving room for my thought
saying I'm naive to the things on earth
never paying attention to what I've got
always judging me with my span on earth
why don't judge the content of my thought?
O partial judge!
why do you suppress all I have?
don't deny my right
O corruptible judge!
give heed to my thoughts
assess the content
before you put them to your cage.
