Worrying For The Better Livelihood Of Others Is Not Unpleasant!
For all the people who live in this world
Surrounded by the roaring extensive ocean,
It is said that a person without striving hard
for the better living of himself and not worrying
for his well being, but worrying with the desire
for the better livelihood of other living beings
is not considered as worry and sorrowful,
but it is a pleasant experience to say for sure!
This poem 'Worrying for the better livelihood of others is not unpleasant! ' is a translation by me of a poem from Tamil literature 'Muthumozhik kaanji'
குறள் வெண்செந்துறை
ஆர்கலி யுலகத்து மக்கட் கெல்லாம்
வாழாமல் வருந்தியது வருத்த மன்று.7
