Worth Of Patience Poem by Nikita G.Kurup

Worth Of Patience

Rating: 5.0

I saw her standing alone on a lonely road.
Her eyes showed signs of long wait.
Tears flowed out of those lifeless azure eyes in a solitary way.

She was walking up and down the road.
I do not know who she was waiting for.
But, now her tears were more profound.
Her voice quivered like a swooned.
Tears were brimming up her eyes.
Tears gushed out like black mud into the starless night.
Tears she had shed in wait for someone who never came.

She saw a truck on the horizon.
A smile lit her damp visage.
But the truck went right past her
and she continued her solitary wait.

She showed me nothing polite,
she gave me nothing wise.
She only granted another broken soul an inspiration
to tell the slumbering humanity the worth of patience.

Another nice poetry. Now you realize that I told, all the answers you will get as you go on facing the strife of life. Here you've admitted that you got one for you from her. Keep it up.
