By way of consolation, counselors sodden in compassion
Would offer confirmed words of wisdom solemn:
"There is no crown without crucifixion"
In the human context, crucifixion doesn't always guarantee crown
Nevertheless, death and resurrection are often events in life
In our agony, we often weep aloud like Jesus crucified:
"Father, my Heavenly Father, why hast Thou forsaken me? "
And we are blessed, if we dare declare confident:
"Everything has been fulfilled", with a smile radiant
Falling into the sorriest pit, never to rise again spells death
May be vanity to assume the dust would bloom
Yet the hope elevates Man to the status human sublime
And makes him worthy of resurrection glorious
