Would you dance with the Devil?
Would you kiss his foul mouth?
Would you caress his forked tail?
Would you use his horns,
As a bottle opener?
Would you use his birds foot,
To till your garden?
Would you put his cloven hoof,
In your soup?
What fools these humans be,
To speak kindly of the Devil.
And all the while,
The people that truly know him,
Live their lives in misery.
What fools these humans be,
They know not what they say.
A wise old man once said,
'Better for people to think thee a fool,
Than you open your mouth and confirm it.'

Very beautifully written and you let us know what a lot of people do with the devil and probably don't even know what they do. I enjoyed this immensely and can see people doing this every day. Thanks Juan, My friend, Lynn
