Write A Happy One Poem by Carmen Cilla Cook

Write A Happy One

So take a breath and make it deep
Why, you could do this in your sleep
Just pull to front the happy card
Whats wrong, write something, why’s this so hard
Think sun, think fun, think strawberries and cream
Islands, and seafood, and cocktails and dreams
Think oceans, think sunshine, think a great big long cruise
Family, and home life and taking a snooze
Think winning, think lotto, think just getting blotto
lookouts, and mountains and dancing round fountains
Think travel, think train, think singing in the rain
Candles, a long night and kissing in moonlight
Think bubbles, think bath tub, think getting a back rub
Chocolate, an airplane, first class sipping champagne
So write it, just write it, write a happy one
While things in your head are not clouded by pain
Go on just write it, it will make you seem sane! !
