Writer, Reader, Believer! Poem by Denis Martindale

Faith comes to those who hear God's Word or read it all alone.
When inspiration can get stirred, to show Christ can atone.
Psalm 22, Psalm 23. They stand out from the rest,
They say Lord Jesus Christ loves me through love that proves His best.
They say God did not spare His Son my sinful soul to save.
With signs and wonders one by one, because He was so brave!
How Great Thou Art, believers sing, just like Amazing Grace,
When Jesus Christ becomes their King, and miracles take place!

When healings visit those in pain or when the dead rise, too,
When Jesus speaks in dreams again to get His Message through.
He says He died for you because God's pardon gets supplied.
The Man In White explains the Cross with reasons why He died.
You need to see the Saviour's death can take your sins away,
You need Jesus of Nazareth! That's why you need to pray!
That's why there were evangelists. Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
And why the Sinner's Prayer exists to grant God's miracle!

For all God's Scriptures speak of Christ and His great ministry!
Revealing Jesus sacrificed His life on Calvary!
