Writin Poetry Poem by Michelle Bradshaw

Writin Poetry

You got me writing poetry.
You don’t even know what
It is that you do to me.
and although, you’ve never
even touched me….
I’m just still so intrigued that
you got me writing poetry.
I’m smiling when I hear your
voice and daydreamin; thinkin
of you. I can’t even stop it,
I don’t mean to do what I do.
I’m feeling this in the pit of
my stomach. I’ve been holding
on to this for a while. It’s gotten
more intense with time. Do I tell
you or do I keep it inside. How will
you feel; I’ll never know if I don’t ask.
I want you to know how special you
are to me. I want to tell you so much
How You Got Me Writin Poetry.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I fell in love with a man that I was never intimate with because of his character and I was inspired to write. I admired him from a distance.

Michelle Bradshaw The poetry is a typical secret love kinda story, yet there's a deeper heartfelt emotion that required you to write your feelings down, then dare you share your thoughts with the object of your affections, or keep the thoughts to yourself, merely to suffer the sweet torture of a secret love?
