Writing Aspirations Beyond The Stars Poem by Terence George Craddock

Writing Aspirations Beyond The Stars

in elementary school as primary school first learners
we practiced learned reading writing letters of the alphabet
those first few efforts first few shaky written letters

words our reward from a teacher was
often a small bright yellow star or two
time passes one two a few small bright

yellow stars continued as our encouragement time effort rewards
a reward system in stars is echoed into future place site reward systems

and thus it was on poemhunter.com it was
poems may be graded from one to five stars
one or two stars might be a low blow five stars

good

the mind in time will transcend stars
seek heightened skilled awareness abilities
a desire to achieve results awareness

in self defined achievement abilities
an elusive masterpiece write perfection
might be a poet mind declaration sought

goal

to write impossible feelings

concepts

defined in rhythm written words
