She is a small part of this world,
A collection of skin and bone and muscle.
She is a pair of fierce brown eyes and a soft, silky mop
Of blonde hair,
Or green!
She is a supernova of voice and song and laughter, of

atoms. She is made of atoms.
We,1% phosphorous,
1% stars.
We are stars. When we die
When our final day fades to night
We will become stars.

My friend is a star,
And so am I.
And our friendship will become a message in the sky,
Like the heroes gone before.
