Written On A Women's Day Poem by Cathy Shao

Written On A Women's Day

When they have a half day off
They rush to the shopping mall
  Ancient instincts of gatherers
Wandering in the exciting modern hall

  Cars Running
  Hands Waving
  What things did you buy

  Oh
Sweet delicacies to pamper the teeth
Fancy dresses to fill the wardrobe with

  Bags heavy
  Lips chappy
  What things did you buy

  Oh
  Makeups to put while dining
  Perfumes to wear when jogging

  'Mosquitoes bite
  Bees sting
  Cats sleep
  Bird sing'
  And ladies buy
