The days people live in this world are only a few!
The books we have to read are many without any doubt!
In spite of doing virtuous activities for the betterment
of this life, the surrealistic and wrongful behavior
of gambling is wretched for him and his family!

கல்லாது சூதினிற் காலம் போக்குவது இழிவாகும் - கலி விருத்தம்
வையமேன் மானிடர் வாழும் நாட்சில
ஐயமில் கேள்விதான் அளவில ஆருயிர்
உய்யநல் வினைகளை உஞற்றி டாதுநாள்
பொய்யமர் சூதினிற் போக்கல் புன்மையே.2
மாயூரம் வேதநாயகம் பிள்ளை பாடல்
