Xizu Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Xizu

You can cry or be joyful by it,
For the news came and went like the wind!
And i am now alone still waiting for my lover.

Who rebukes a wicked man or woman receives abuse,
And envy is rottenness to the bones!
But a merry heart lights up the face;
And like Xizu my friend in the bush of love.
