Xmas Card 2015 - Poem by Douglas Scotney

Putting a hat
on a Xmas tree
endows licence
to call it a head,
make its nose red,
if it's not in the shade,
and hang a bogey from it;

but as an iconoclast,
it pays to know
how far to go.
