Yahweh Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Yahweh

I would always describe God as someone who is perfectly imperfect
For he is a God who loves, understands, forgives, creates and kills
In all of mankind's transgressions or all of it's love that God feels
He is a God that loves so he rewarded us with blessings in the form of Liberty
To be free of it's will in expressing all of our desires in such endless possibility
He is a God that understands by allowing matters to happen in its natural way
So he patiently waits when we will all mend the wrongs we did on the right day
He is a God who forgives for even God could also feel all the emotions of humanity
God could also relate to the anger or sorrow brought by all the pain in his authority
He is also a God who creates by integrating what is evil with the good to highlight the show
The show between the evil and good which spotlights the human endeavor in order to grow
Lastly he is also a God who kills as a form of punishment or reward to all those he calls
He created death in order to bring a brand new beginning to everything old which falls
Yes, God could be so many things among our lives for he is quite complete
Complete is a more fitting word I chose to describe God for being quite wise
By allowing the wicked nature of men to persist in life as the problems arise
For even our God himself had also walked among us in the form of its own flesh and blood
The ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans or Israelite's knows about all the lives that he had
For even Christ whom you consider as your God had called upon his own father for salvation
So who could be the father he called upon if the Christians knows the answer to the question
God is perfect in a sense that all of his actions are considered to be right
Even all of the killings and disasters for no one could challenge the light
For being a powerful God means having the authority over life and death to the people
Even the privilege given to men made them practice such actions for being quite supple
The word perfect is exaggerated for our God himself who demands no such compliment
For if God is indeed perfect then no one would be ugly, poor or fat as I rest my argument
Christianity made us believe that God is a superhuman who posses powers within his hands
By walking in the water, bringing the dead back to life or healing the sickness over the lands
But the truth is God came to this world just like the way we did without any magical powers
For God moves in mysterious ways which could not easily be seen by our naked eyes
But only when God rise to such fame and power that his glory shines before he dies
For God allowed such evil to exist as an opponent in his mighty struggle for all the goodness
Just like by allowing slavery to materialize so that Abraham Lincoln could have his greatness
Our powerful God is not perfect for nothing perfect lasts forever unlike our beloved God
The perfection of such beauty, score, match, power, house, car or life would eventually fade
God is perfectly imperfect as an Immortal who gave an identity to everything that was made
Everything that are considered perfect has a duration which made it come and go in general
God's flaw is that he could never know the true meaning of rest in peace unlike you and me
He even lies or be cruel in the all promises he had broken for the things he wants us to be
Just like the broken promise he made to Noah after the forty days of rain and storm
That he will never again hurt humanity or even demand such sacrifices in any form
God would again manifest its anger for the insult done to us lately to show who's the boss
Of such a tragedy and disaster in a country dear to me as they will all soon count their loss
