Yaod Poem by Fuzzy James

Yaod

My mind is canvas for the paints of wonder
A wharf that harbours knowledge most profound
It quells all thoughts cavorting lady thunder
Yet trembles under fear of crashing sound

It buckles under stress of guilt encroaching
And struggles under strain of duties found
Though soon evolves with saviours viewed approaching
Faith is born while blessed on journey bound

It shan't be ridiculed for lack of reason
For now with heart it vows to keep the truth
Together fighting charlatans who treason
Attacking memories of blissful youth

Till bloody battles steal it's final years
And death engulfs my last subsiding fears
