Yazoo City Tornado Poem by Tammie Thrasher

Yazoo City Tornado

Rating: 3.5

Tornado came through,
Our smalltown hit the news!
Lots of homes lost and blown away,
Family and friends gave them a place to stay.
They have nothing left,
Some delt with tragic deaths.
Looking at the damage, it hurts to see.
I thank God for watching over me.
My heart goes out to all of those effected.
Yazoo City, Mississippi: in April 2010, a tornado wrecked it!

*This poem is a true story. My hometown got destroyed by a tornado in April of 2010 and effected all of our lives*
