A tale will be told of you and I
Written on tablets as crystalline as my love for you will be.
From the north to the south of the equator,
From the depths of the pacific to the peaks of Everest,
Ours will be the tale acknowledged on every lip.

And I will love you again and again
That the flames of it will burn like that of Sodom and Gomorrah.
You'll be my strength through my fame and my shame
And I'll be your smile beneath the rain and the sun.

Morning will come and you'll be sheltered in my arms
Evening will come and I'll be guarded in your heart.
Together, we shall forever be thunder and lightning
Awaking the earth whenever the cloud is dark
Till the day you die when, also, my breath would cease.
