Life at times
Seem so complicated
But in a moment, an instant

A change in thinking can move me to
Think it is not

I know it can be so simple
Really I do

So why do we complicate it so
Hurt, despair moves us to feel this

We become our own chains
Tied together
From a life of pain inflicted unto us
By us….
It all becomes blurred
Who, when and how it happened

Scars are born
We cannot even know
How we can heal them

Yet there are those moments
When clarity happens
And we realize
Yes
It can really be this simply

We are here to fulfill
Our life purpose
And yes that is different for me than for you

All the muck should be pushed away
So we can finally see
Yes
It could be this simple
