Seems like yesterday but it was seven years ago
I met my precious angel; who still sets my heart aglow
I trust in you completely with all of my heart
It's been open to you from the very start
You've had more heartache than you ever should
We have to accept the bad days along with the good
We've shared laughter along with the tears
Supported each other lovingly; throughout the years
Let go of the past; there's no need to construe
Your name means peace and that's what I want for you
I'll do everything possible to brighten your day
My love for you is something that'll always stay
It's rare to find that one true friend
Who will remain beside you until the very end
You never have to doubt; I'll be by your side
I promised this until the day I die
Our bond is something that'll always endure
Our love has always been true and pure
There's warmth in your eyes and kindness in your smile
Every second I can spend with you is so worthwhile
You inspire those around you with your poise and grace
You make this world such a better place
You've done so much for me that I'm thankful for
You mean the world to me and so much more
You're the gold treasure at the rainbows end
