Yesterday's Reality Is Today's Memory Poem by the Nickster

Yesterday's Reality Is Today's Memory

My grandmother and me were as happy as can be
she was my inspiration when I just couldn't see-wrong from right
As time passed on, Mom-Mom's strength decreased
and shortly after, she deceased
I miss her much & at times, I wish I could have said, 'Good Bye'
I know I can't at this late hour
but, one thing I know for sure
a grandmother's love, Mom-Mom showered
She never asked for much; she was always willing to give-
and though she's gone, her loving spirit continues to live.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I don't know why I expected my grandmother to out live me, but I did. So, when she passed away I was devastated. I wrote this to honor her.
