Yesteryear...2012 Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Yesteryear...2012

Rating: 5.0

She was my yesteryear
I donor know about coming year
But it remains as unforgettable year
Even better than today and memorable year

Nothing is bad with the time and days
They are as lovely as possible all the ways
Tragedies and events take place as destined
Which year was best can not be defined

The year may never come back when made good bye
It was fine period and we all had made earnest try
Wished for happiness and peace all over world
Relatively it was calm and trouble free as I am told

Pain and suffering may remain as inseparable part
One can't dissociate even if wan to or depart
If there is joy for everybody and no struggle
I feel sincerely and hope God will be forgotten by people

Let us not remember what was bad in the year
But hope and pray what remained best to hear
Where tragedy could be warded off and saved people
Where timely help was rendered and averted trouble

Even though it remained as tolerant year
Nothing more took place to tear us off
We were not threatened with war like situation
God gave good sense to all and raise nothing in question

Let us remember one thing and bear in mind
Nature and god are meant to be well wishers and kind
Until we obstruct natural path or do adopt sinful ways
God and nature is supposed to be always with us

Let us be nature friendly and loving people with compassion
God too loves peace on earth with no more unjust imposition
"Let the people have their freedom and way to decide destiny"
New Year may prove fruitful with all the blessings from almighty

Let us pray New Year to be famine and calamity free
Let there be green forests with lots of shade under the tree
It may bring rain in time with no more harm to human beings
Let us take pledge for not harming any one in our doings
