You - Poem by Zachary Cisar

For you I could say a lot,
Like today i thought you were looking hot.
When I see you I begins shiver,
And my whole body starts to quiver.

Around you I am nervous as can be,
And it is hard to act just like me.
You are so kind, loving and caring,
That's something you are always sharing.

I choose to try and impress you,
And I am not sure if that's something you want me to do.
Truly you will notice if I suck,
And I find that very bad luck.

It is very hard for me to say this,
Cause it could be a swing and a miss.
But it is a chance I am willing to take,
Also a decision I am willing to make.

I call you stuff like pretty, babe, and cute,
And o wow isn't she a beaut. ;)
I mean everything that comes out my mouth,
Just like a duck makes his way south.

Just like last night I had the chance to smoke pot,
And because of you I did not.
I make smarter choices from what you say,
And plan to keep the cigarette in the ashtray.

I took the time to write this for you,
And that's something I don't normally do.
I hope you read this and it means something,
Because I did not choose to write it for nothing.
