You Poem by Sadie Monroe

You

I think about you all the time.
Multiple times a day.
I'd be surprised if you think of me at all.

You remind me of vanilla ice cream
and the tree with the yellow buds in my yard
and raspberry tea with lots of honey
and the way it smells after it rains.

I've memorized the way your eyes sparkle when you smile
and the exact shade of green they turn when the sun hits them just right.
I can picture your laugh
down to the look you get on your face when you're trying not to smile.

I have had my adorations,
but you are unlike anyone i've met before.
And you will never know how much you mean to me

All my love,
S.M.
