Indeed I said I would
make the best of what we had
in our initial deal.
Before I held that product pen between my fingers
to sign a lifetime away on some drafted product paper contract
for the conventional cheer of a matrimony.
So I grew a little ambitious
and wanted to bargain for more from this aimless ambiguity.
I said, "how about looking to acquire more than just human contracts?
Let us take the world and split it into two equal portions,
sell it to someone who doesn't know the meaning of cheap."
I can only make the best
of what I have if it does not involve one thing -
a soul is what I do not have to liberally give.
