You And Me. Poem by Satya Pratik

You And Me.

We,
As in you and me.
Don't have forever with each other.
I have my own forever,
You have your own.
But not together.
Maybe,
We do spend most of our forever,
Together.
But never all of it,
Never each moment of it.
Sometimes I will just feel it,
In your voice,
In your text.
Sometimes I won't even know it.
Sometimes we will spend it,
Holding hands tightly,
Feeling the time slip faster.
Sometimes on bed,
Not facing eachother,
Feeling the time to be still.
Maybe we don't have a forever,
Maybe we don't even have a ever.
But We,
As in you and me,
Have me for you,
And you for me.
