You Are Always There - Poem by Lauren LaRosa

I was new
when you were two.
I layed in bed
while you held my head.
what a day
when everyone was gay.

I was six
When I became sick.
You were there
in my despair.
Because of you
I wasn't always so blue.

I was seven
when I arrived in heaven.
I wasn't alive long,
but you helped me feel so belonged.
Now I've left
I watched how you've wept.

You are so plain
and you just aren't the same.
I watch you
and I just knew.
By the way you sigh
you were to commit suicide.

God please help him
to not be so grim.
God sent you a blessing
to help stop all your stressing.
Your are no other
then my wonderful, loving brother.

This is for my older brother John. We've had are fights but nothing can keep us apart. Thank you
