You are art to me
Unfolding in time
I see you
Loving, learning,
Dreaming, yearning,
Teared eyes staring
Hurting, sharing,
Listening, watching,
Teaching, growing,
Mostly trying
Still not knowing
About
How beautiful
You make my world seem
By merely smiling at me.
You make me glow.
Your art
Flows out
Like a river of endless boats
Made from petals
And melodic notes
Chiming like calliope
A parade of love
For you and me
Sent out to sea
So helplessly.
You are art to me.
Sometimes you are like sacrament to me
You
On my tongue
So meant to be
And our house of love
Becomes my temple
And our tangle
Renders pleasures simple,
Through your skin
And tender touch
Or in passion's
Gripping clutch
Your arms a precious
Sanctuary where only
Our love doth grow.
I see in you
The brightest light
Also true...
The darkest night
Secrets hidden
In a cloud
Behind a velvet
Mystery shroud
Woven with a
Never ending thread
Whose only point
Is to sew
A place
Where love can grow.
And if you knew
How crystal clear
Your voice comes through
To my ear
The things you do
The things you say
Memories echo
Throughout my day
Then you would see
Just how deep
Your Art
Flows
Through me.
