For A Flower Poem by Izzy A Tripper

For A Flower

I would sleep
with rattlesnakes,
And I would bake
A million cakes,
Carry a camel
On my back,
With a U.S. flag
March through Iraq,
If I lived
Trade my last breath,
Trade it for
A single flower,
One whose petals
Have strange power,
And I would steal
A TV station,
Just to tell
The whole damn nation,
About this flower
Yes, it's true,
Do you know this flower?
This flower is YOU!
