You Are Everything Poem by Matt Swanson

You Are Everything

In my life, she is the best
Doesn't have to even try, to outdo all the rest
I truly hope we never grow apart
She's so beautiful, so funny, so smart.

I think about her every day
I think about her every way
I see her pictures, but she's not really there
I have admit, it gives me a scare.

In our perfect little world
Nothing ever goes wrong
In our perfect little world
Our time together will be long

But this isn't a dream
This is life
Dandelions and ice cream
Are replaced by heartbreak and strife

So yes, i'm afraid that I love you
Because nothing has ever felt so true
And so what if it kills me inside
When i'm with you, I feel so alive

Let's go the distance, run every mile
I swear I'll make your time worthwhile
We can dance, we can sing
We can do everything

I'll do my best to please you
Never, ever tease you
And if I don't appease you
Then I will never seize you

Time can only tell
What happens for you and I
I truly wish you very well
Without you, I would die.
