You Are For Us, Time, Do Not Proud By Rasul Gamzatov

You are for us, time, do not proud,
Assume all the people by yours shadow.
Many ones are among the people whose live
Is the source of yours shine.
Be grateful to ones which rise us
To the thinkers, to the heroes and to the poets.
Shining you were and you shine now
By no inherent shine, and by their great shine.
