You Are Moonlight Poem by Joyce Hemsley

You Are Moonlight

Rating: 4.0

How can he tell you he loves you?
Why can't he just make you see?
He has no wonderful gifts
But as long as he lives
He will worship no-one
But thee.

You could sail the beautiful ocean
Under skies of radiant blue
If you could believe
He will never deceive
And his vows of love
Are so true.

He will light one thousand candles
If he's certain that you care
His heart you'll beguile
If you walk up the Aisle
And his eyes see
A Bride so fair.

Sweet symphonies will be playing
Violins will echo from afar
So why can't you see
How sweet life could be
You're his moonlight
And shining star.
