You Are My Cuddly Rabbit

When your eyelids
begin to droop,
the dark begins to darken
my cosy little world.
But when I see you
step into my cactus-filled premises
as if curved through the air,
with the fullness of your lips
curved in smiles
dripping nectar
in the height of summer,
I have the fullness of life
with my spring
turning into riot of colours.
