You are the sunshine and the rain,
You are the moon, that rises high.
You are the happiness and pain,
That in my bed does lie.
You are the southern wind so fair,
You are the oak I lean upon.
My diamond in the rough so rare,
You're an unwritten song.
You are the sunrise and sunset,
You are the stars that shine so bright.
My choice in life, with no regrets,
My warm and sultry nights.
You are the sustenance I crave,
To somehow carry on.
You are my fortress where I'm safe,
Away from everyone.
You are the air I breathe each day,
My oxygen so sweet.
A blooming flower in the month of May,
To make my herbary complete.
You are the heart whose beat I hear,
Each morning when I rise.
You are the soul that has no peer,
I can see it through your eyes.
