You Are Poem by Juan Olivarez

You Are

Rating: 4.8

You are,
The air I breath,
To live everyday,
Of my life.

You are,
My sun that warms me,
And keeps,
The cold away.

You are,
The rain in my face,
Tender, caressing,
Cleansing.

You are,
The night.
Mysterious, and dark,
That I need to renew, myself.

You are,
The moon, that shines,
Upon my soul,
With your mystic glow.

You are,
My vaccine,
For every ill, and plague,
Upon God's green Earth.

You are,
My rainbow,
Multicolored, in the sky,
A gift from The supreme Deity.

There is not,
One single thing,
That you are not,
To me.
